On your way to Sigiriya you will visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which houses more than 65 elephants now. Sigiriya is also known as the “Mount of Remembrance” is the “UNESCO World Heritage Site”. This site contains 180 m tall granite rock and at the top are the ruins of the Royal palace. There is a stone stairway leading from the base to the top of the mountain.

Day 01: SriLanka

On arrival in Sri lanka, you will be greeted by our representative and escorted to hotel in Sigiriya. On your way to Sigiriya you will visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which houses more than 65 elephants now. Sigiriya is also known as the “Mount of Remembrance” is the “UNESCO World Heritage Site”. This site contains 180 m tall granite rock and at the top are the ruins of the Royal palace. There is a stone stairway leading from the base to the top of the mountain. About half way to the top, there is a pair giant pair of lions paws which is in fact the ruins of a huge head of a lion whose open mouth served as the entrance to the royal palace. Surrounding the palace complex are the ruins of a garden complex consisting of two moats, various pools. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Day 03 Trincomalee-Kandy

Get packed breakfasts in the hotel and move on to see the dolphin and whale at 6 a.m. after this experience return to the hotel and check out of the hotel to set for your next destination Kandy. On your way to Kandy, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple (also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla), a World Heritage Site (1991). Reach kandy. Check into hotel. Here you can visit the “Dalada Maligawa” – the Temple of the Tooth Relic, the sacred Tooth Relic was received by king Vimaladharmasuriya I with great veneration and placed in the new three – storied shrine built by him near the royal palace. Day 04 Colombo

After having breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Colombo. Reach Colombo. Check into the hotel. Later on go on for a city tour through the capital. You will visit the fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street-the Goldsmiths quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area. Next you will visit the Dewatagaha Mosque and the former Eye Hospital. You can also visit BMICH, to see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square. Overnight stay in hotel.
